Naša škola se nalazi u najljepšem dijelu Sarajeva – Starom Gradu. Školsko područje proteže se od glavne ulice koja nosi isto ime kao i škola, pa do Sedrenika i Grdonja, i od Baščaršije do ulice Musa Ćazim Ćatić.
102 godine postojanja
Škola je počela sa radom davne 1920. godine kao VII narodna škola, a izgradnja školske zgrade započeta je 1928. godine na zemljištu sarajevske porodice Svrzo. Projekat za školu radio je poznati arhitekt Dušan Smiljanić.
